Devon McLean and Anne Tucker are a couple of New Zealanderís (Kiwiís) who on reaching the magical fifties, decided it was time to enjoy the fruits of their labours. Devon retired from his senior management position at Carter Holt Harvey and Anne sold her business, Stratos, and off they went to discover Europe.
This website is to help us stay in touch with our family and friends wherever they or we are or for people locating us from our past.
We have also developed some other websites: Prow Consulting, TA Training as well as our rental holiday house in Dubrovnik Croatia where you can book your holiday in the beautiful Adriatic.
For the first few years after retiring we enjoyed the fruits of our labours and took time to play, explore the world and spend more time with family and friends.
However, Devon decided to expand his interests and is now busy with various biodiveristy projects including his ongoing passion on protecting Pohutakawa and Rata through Project Crimson for which he earned himself the prestigious recognition of the Queens Service Medal in the 2015 New Years Honours. He also manages Project Janszoon, the privately funded 30 year ecological restoration of the Abel Tasman National Park; and ZIP; a research and development project to get rid of New Zealand's most destructive pests, possums, stoats and rats so the native birds can thrive once again. He chairs Preditor Free New Zealand, and is a director on the Conservation Authority Board, the Auckland Conservation Authority Board, National Science Challenge and an adviser to the the Next Foundation.
Anne decided to complete her exams in Transactional Analysis, a way of understanding human psychology and communication from the organisational perspective and completed that goal in April 2015 in Edinburgh.
